There are two different RF 24-105 lenses. I think you are talking about the RF 24-105 F4L IS, which is USM. The OP was asking about the RF 24-105 F4-7.1 IS STM. Maybe some other posters were also confused, and were talking about the L version, instead of the STM version? It also supports the faster ES frame rates. I don't know about the EF 24-104 F4L but the RF 24-105 STM kit lens is surprisingly good if you get a good copy. And the RF is much smaller and lighter.
